Default transmission rebuild socal

Any rebuilders in socal? My 4l60e needs a rebuild. The 3rd and 4th clutches are burnt and this will be my third time getting the the trans rebuilt. Looking not to spend no more than a grand. Thanks

I saw an ad on craigslist... went to check yelp and they have pretty good reviews. California transmissions in Huntington park. looks like decent prices as well.

Just in case you want a second opinion contact xtreme transmissions. I had mine rebuilt with a new torque converter from FTI. It's been in the car over 5 years and I haven't had a problem with it. Here's the website http://www.xtremetransmissions.com/home.php

Fwiw I heard Johnny went out of business. I know a friend was having a helluva time trying to get him to warranty his trans. I know he used to be the **** back in the day.

I was finished dealing with one lousy builder in this state. I ended up buying a transmission from Finish Line, so far so good after a couple years.
