I have a 1990 Mustang LX 5speed Notchback.(No options car)

Car runs great 114K original miles
New carpet and race seats
Rear seat delete kit
New Steeda Tri ax shifter
New Alternator
Alpine CD head unit
Magnaflow Xpipe and Cat-back
Pony wheels with new dunlop tires
New K&N Filter
Body is straight minor door dings
Paint is a 5 out of 10

The car is light weight and will make one hell of a toy or drag car.

I wish I could keep her as a toy but the new job dosen't have the extra cash flow I was used too when I purchased the notch.(The vette payment dosen't help either)

I also have a set of Draglites with New ET Drags

$5600.00 OBO with Drag tire set-up

$5100.00 OBO with out the draglites

Oh yeah the car went 13.8@98.5 with just exhaust and the dragtires at Carlsbad.

Let me know

Brandin

Hey I've still got my black beast for sale. You could easily convert it to a 6spd and sell off the low miles 4L60E/SY3500 for $$$! I might even give you a small discount, if you buy soon.

Thanks for the heads up Terry...but you're at least $500 over High Book and the car doesn't look real clean from the pics....you have any better pics of the exterior?

Private party blue book on KBB.COM is $9,600! High bluebook is $11,350. The car is very clean looking. You're what, 45 min away? Why don't we meet somewhere so you can check it out.

Actually I found some better pictures:

http://www.geocities.com/danslo/beast/pics/index.html

They were taken by the previous owner, but are more or less recent. I'd give the paint a 9/10, with the only aesthetical problems being 2-3 small 1/4" dimples in passenger door. The car has no ses light, is smog legal, $6,000+ retail in mods, only 59,000 miles, and has great performance for the price.

With a set of skinnies/slicks, and taking out the spare tire, I'm sure it will run 11s. I guarantee you won't find a better car in this price range ($10,000).

High Bluebook is $9600...Suggested Dealer Retail is $11,350.....and since I am pretty sure you aren't a dealer...I'd say High book is mid $9000's...but not much is selling for anywhere close to high book these days....so if you're negotiable by $1000-$1500...let me know....or if you're going to be anywhere in the OC area...let me know...I'll meet you...

Heh, well there are three pricing levels, trade in, private party, and retail. Retail is considered "high bluebook". If you say someone is priced at high bluebook, you mean retail. It doesn't matter because book values are simply suggested pricing levels, I think its better to look at comparable vehicles and what they sold for to gauge value.

I'd be willing to go down to $9,500 as a rock bottom price. As evident by your extended search, there are not many quality LS1 cars available in this low end price range. Show me something with 59,000 miles, heads, cam, aftermarket stereo, stall, new tires, chrome rims, ttops, etc priced lower and I may reevaluate my price.

Did I mention the ASP pulley, subframe connectors, dynomax catback, tint, 2001 manifolds/cats, lid, gmaf, k&n, dyno tuning, tranny cooler, 160 degree stat, cutout and ported LS6 oil pump?

Well actually since many banks use Suggested Private Party Value (Not dealer "Retail") as the Max amount they loan, I would say that is typically "High" Blue Book...

And actually I just missed out on a '99 6 speed SS with similar miles and $3k worth of stereo equipment, plus an extra set of SS wheels and some mods for $10k a few weeks ago...in addition I know of a few other modded SS's with similar miles to your car that have sold for no more than $10.5-$11k recently....so there are cars out there selling for well below Private Party Book...just thought you might want to know since you haven't had a ton of bites on your car...

... and 3.73s, extra set of 3.42s, TA girdle, aluminum driveshaft, upgraded headlights, trans go shift kit, etc.
