Hopefully I'll have the block out this weekend. Pulling the pistons and rods out and throwing them in the trash so I have to buy new ones. I need to start buying **** so I can finish this project

 

ok, finally got the block out of the dam car and its even dis-assembled and ready for the machine shop. Had help from the Zmonster. Should be able to get my block to the shop tuesday morning with some luck. Thanks to Zmonster for helping, MrOverkill for use of the hoist and to crazy camaro for use of the engine stand. Feeling pretty good now that I can really get started on this build.

Anyone going to Famoso this weekend?

 

Well Im sure Im not going, and Im fairly sure Rob isn't either.
What do yall know about the strip in sac? How does it compare to famoso?

I know I aint going to Famoso, my car is not being the working. From what I have heard of Sac raceway its alot more relaxed than famoso.

 

I plan on going. Getting the th 400 and mosier 9' hooked up right now. Gotta go to fresno driveline in the morning and have the driveline made. Hopefully the beast will be ready by saturday!!!!!!
