I wish Pomona held more events open to the public. LACR = shitty DA. Fontana JUST got redone, and it isn't half bad.

I still say Pamona.

well I guess come Sat. I can tell you what I think about Fontana. Last time it was 117 degrees and I ran 14's, so not real impressed. Hoping to run 11's with the goat, we'll see.

Theres alot of streets up near Porter Ranch that are like that.

Air Density, High Winds, Dust on the track, Uneven track, and Too much VHT on the track aswell...yea,...I think I might just switch from LACR.

From the tracks that remain open that I have participated ...

Famoso
Irwindale
Pomona
LVMS*
LACR
Fontana

... in that order.

*Not in Southern California

Got started racing at Lions back in the day then it was OCIR (I know, I'm showing my age). Since I live in Tempe I voted for "other" (Firebird Friday night drags).

http://www.famosoraceway.com

Take the 5 fwy north to the 99 fwy north, to the 46hwy/Famoso Road exit east. Go a couple of miles between orchards and it will be on the right hand side, after about 20 minutes of driving on this long straight road.
