My advise is never race or fight anyone you're afraid of...

You've already defeated yourself.

Im sure he is a lot faster than that. or else I wouldnt need to fear the fellow.
8.0's are 12.50's in the 1/4 which is mid 12's...I ran 8.09 @ 88 and 12.54 @ 110...when my stock 02 Z28 had a Lid Slicks and Skinnys up front and that was with an M6... Let me know when you need the driver mod...

I think Im a better driver...

M6, lid, full exhaust and just Nittos. yes I have the exhasut advantage, but I had regular front tires and Nittos on the rear and ran a 8.07 @ 89.25 mph. with a 1.89 or 1.90 60'

But after 12 bolt, 3.73s, lots of suspension, removerd AIR from front, Mickey Thompson ET street radials, 25% underdrive pulley, LS7 clutch and Aluminum flywheel.. Im doing 8.04 @ 88.0 mph. thats with a 1.79 60'

Something is definitely defective.

Your car should be faster...Skinnies don't make up for long tube headers and full exhaust and all of the other stuff that you have done and you only have 1 more mph then my stocker had... I had nothing performance wise more than a Lid...

well how is this. with just a lid and nittos I went 8.33 @ 88 mph.

full exhuast is all horsepower. I can have a cam and tune but without tires I cant run fast. You have slicks, that enough for a stocker would do much better.

Im just saying, Im a good driver. I take offense into someone telling me Im not a good driver, Im not saying you suck. But Im pretty sure you arent a better driver than me. I can hardly accept equal

My car did just fine for full exhaust and a lid and nittos.

what sucks is how my current setup is. I have tuning issues im pretty sure. Im getting a good launch now, but my power seems to be not there

Yeah similar times, but I dunno what RSAs are.

Also I wasnt launching as good as when I did with the full exhaust. I was still getting used to launching with Nittos at the time.

Irwindale hooks up great.
Fontana sucks ***.

Its easier for us fatso's to bench since it doesn't have to go as far. Plus we have the trampoline effect...

I'm guessing the bench reference was to justify his weight. Or to further let Jason know he's a better driver because he's sooooo strong.

I am very sure of the Driver Mod that if you were to make 2 passes and I make 2 passes that I would beat your time whether it be 60ft or et or mph or all of the above that I would bet $100 on it...I am sure that I could pull off that elusive 7.xx slip that we know your car is capable of...

Im not saying you suck. Im just saying I dont suck either. Also I have reason to believe why my times arent as well as they should be

#1 I need a tune

#2 my strano springs are making my 60's worse than they can be.

I will probably be @ Irwindale this thurs and let you know when I get my 7.8 finally.

LSgunZ28 when you were at the track and talked to me you said something about the auto cars being such beast and thats why my times were so close to yours. Generally the M6 cars were faster stock, well with a good driver at least. Back on topic though, I got my money on jason being the driver mod for you just saying, dont get all butt hurt though...

Yes it was, with a lousy 8.3 @ 86 mph vs my 8.0 @ 89 mph (which is what I was doing before)
