HIT AND RUN Will Insurance go up
Some body hit my car at my job I think it was a big rig or a bobtail that backed into it. I know it's going to cost more than my deductible to fix but I don’t want my Insurance to go up. Has anybody gone through this? What should I do?

NOPE!!!!! it shouldt go up at all because it wasnt your fault! the only time your insurance goes up is if you use your deductuble on something that was your fault in the first place! but if it wasnt your fault and the other ***** got away your insurance should not go up!!

Only if it's your fault. So no it doesn't go up. I have had three people hit my 98 Z28(totalled) and My 01 SS hit(still in the shop) and my insurance has not gone up it's actually gone down. So dont worry. Does your work have camera's in the parking lot? Good luck.

My wife is a claims adjuster for AAA and she says that if you car was parked and unattended while being hit your insurance rates will definetly not go up. You will probably have to pay your deductible if you do not find the person who hit your car, but your rates won't increase.

I hate hit and runs. I had an estimate done with my insurance to see how much it would cost after some dipshit hit my front end while I was inside a grocery store. I **** you not they were only going to pay less than $100. The "estimate" was slightly under $1100. At the time I had several tickets and to keep my insurance cost down I had a $1000 deductible. Needless to say today I have a low deductible, and while not structually damaged, my front end looks like *** still because of the paint, and on my own I found much nicer estimates. I just need do get it done. However, my rates did not go up, but damn do I hate those dickless bastards that don't know how to drive.
