Default Sorry, nuther dumb CO question

What kind of vehicle inspection is out there? My papers just dropped and I have to be in C Springs before Oct 22. I've got CATS but the stroker is a little on the wild side. Might pass an emissions test. I've also got tint on the windows. How is it out there?

Co still has the sniffer test. Since you have cats, you might get passed it. If not, there are several shops in the Springs and Denver that can help you pass

True for some parts of Co, but Denver and surrounding cities still require sniffer test emissions

Well you are more than welcome to use my address but I'm throwing away all your mail. So, let me make sure I understand, if I live in C springs I do not have to have emissions? That would be cool. She might pass, but I'm not so sure. I have a .236/.242 in a 404.

As far as tinting goes...you are allowed 27% (including factory tint) on all windows except windshield. If you are darker than 27% on the rear side windows then you can not have ANY tint other than factory on the front side windows. There was a CRS Law definition on one of the sites I visit and can not find it...sorry.

Emissions on the front range have been killed since Jan 1 of this year. Denver and it's area cities are still required to get an emissions test. Colorado Springs is one of the front range cities that had the plug pulled on emissions testing. Cats are still required if your car/truck had one when it was manufactured. Some people got a rude awakening when they thought that meant they could hack their cats here.

Anyway...I am familiar with being moved around by the military and I am pretty well rooted here in CO Springs. So if you have questions about Co Springs (good/bad parts of town, good places to eat, events to have fun at, etc.) give me a shout and I will answer what I can for you.
