Carb or Throttle body?

Are you on a Carb Intake? Or maybe just the stock Intake?

Holley and Arizona Speed and Marine are the best bolt on peices.

I would say the highest quality is Arizona Speed Marine... Get the 52mm and it will match your stock opening (your stock TB is 42mm but the intake behind it is 52mm).

If you get 58mm you will have to dremel open the intake some.

Stock LT1 TB size is 48MM. Some of the older BBK do have sticking problems. Make sure you get one specifically for the 93 as they are a bit different than the 94-97.

I was into LT1's for a long time and I was always under the impression the factory full intended the motor for a 52mm TB (hence the intake's 52mm opening) and due to noise restrictions had to bottle neck it to a 48mm (like the added silencer)...

If you add (to your stock car):

K&N FIPK (usually $100 on ebay)
De-Screen the MAF Sensor (pop it out)
1LE Bellow ($30 new from GM Parts Direct)
52mm TB

You will NOT need programming and your car will DEFINETLY run better

Go to a 58mm on a stock engine and you might not. I remember people loosing torque on stock motors with the bigger TB's...

I'd just start clicking on sponsor links (to the right) and compare prices...

Thunder Racing
Texas Speed and Performance
MTI
Etc...
