The Volvo ReCharge is supposed to get approximately 124mpg!!!!!!!!! Reread that if you must, 124MPG! It can drive off its charge for almost 93 miles before it has to switch over to the engine and start using gas, or something like that. I briefly looked over this article, but I can tell you, that is going to be my next purchase. I am sick of paying almost $200-300 a month in gas, and with prices going up, I'm going to be a poor man, living on the street, in a box, with a T/A parked next to it. lol
So, that means, with this car, I would practically NEVER have to fill it up unless I went on a trip longer than 90 miles, which is RARE for me. Anyone else have opinions, comments, something??

but the monthly payment on that will be the same if not more as you are using on gas right now..... plus the cost of insurance.. not an effective way to save money BUT i def. would want one.

I've been thinking of picking up an old Mercedes diesel sedan or VW then convert it to run on vegetable oil. Most restaurants will give you used oil for FREE because it keeps them from paying the disposal fee. The used oil actually burns better as well.
These cars will get 40+ mpg and you get the oil for free so it's all good.

Well no one said progress would be cheap ![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
but I would not mind owning one of those for my daily driver. Ferrari or Z06 like numbers though don't forget.
looks abit like the Lotus. I saw another one on future cars (discovery channel) by some HS kids in Phili that ran on biodeisel that had an even more provocative body style.

I'm gonna wait a couple years tell they perfect them and reduce the prices then I'll go Green. Also I saw a sticker on a Z71 yesterday that said access denied in red it looked similar to the ones on hybrids but was hilarious. Does anyone no where I could get one from?

Yea i know! For the money your spending on the car you could just use to buy gas over the life of the car. Buy a $20k Civic and put $70k in gas and maintenace over the life of it. It just all depends if you want to spend the money all at once...
