Default South Gate Dyno

I ran across a shop in South Gate. They are located on Firestone right before to hit the train tracks after Atlantic. Does anyone know these guys? or how good they are?

I'm really tempted to go check them out, since they are the only dyno shop in the area.

Their website is southgatedyno.com , but I think it's still not finished yet.

don't know about them, but CMS isn't too too far from you. Ryne is getting good numbers on his dyno day in and day out... it'd be worth the drive for some reliable work...

Yeah, I've been trying to go down to Ryne for some time now. I've been holding out until I threw the headers on. Looks like they are going on this weekend, so I need to find a shop soon.

I've heard alot of good things about CMS, but sometimes I think it's too far for me.
Haddad is another option also, they are ALOT closer than CMS. South Gate Dyno is much more close, but don't know them.

Yeah I think they are new, I'll probably stop by and get a feel for these guys.
I think everyone in our areas would appreciate a good dyno shop without having to drive 80-90 miles.

At least we know they are Chevy guys, I usually see black vette outside.

Yeah, you had me confused for a minute. I thought that Strictly had opened up another shop.

Again, another shop that's a bit of a drive away.

Cool, what hours do you work Arnie?

I was thinking of stopping by tomorrow since the headers are going in this weekend.

Theres another Dyno off of Firestone and Downey Ave in Downey called RET Racers Edge Tuning... Its 90% 03-04 Cobras but I've seen a few C5's and C6's around

75.00 for three pulls with wideband readings
or
50.00 for three pulls with wideband readings if we get a group of 5-10 cars to go

We need some kind of LA Dyno day I know i'd be in if it was local...

Yeah, it's a Mustang shop. I stopped by a couple of times to check them out.........and was ignored the first time, rev'd up on the second time once they heard me pulling up.

Their idiots, they have no idea how much they are loosing out on. Can you imaging how many more customers they would have in the F-body community?

I've talked the owner Greg a couple times, hes alright but doesn't really have any interest in building GM cars. He stays plenty busy with 03-04 Cobras, GT's, F150s Etc

His whippled Black 04 cobra was no joke, that bitch ran 6.2-6.4's@97-102MPH at Irwindale and I believe he drove it to and from the track up the 605...

I'll give him a call this week and try to see what he wants for a group of 5-10 people maybe more... I'm thinking Saturday morning/afternoon would be best for everyone but please say something if it isnt...

Sounds good, but wouldn't we want someone who specializes in LSX's?

Has Greg ever worked on an F-Body?
