Default I did the Whistler mod, and got blacked out markers!

I have been doing this mod for a very long time now! i bet you can do it a few hours but i just wanted to take my time and do it right! everything came out perfect... the only thing i didn't like was when i put the plastic clear cover back on... i wet sanded and buffed them out but they still look a lil yellow and not as clear as my other set of headlights! when i was putting them on i noticed that i put the black gasket upside down!! meaning when i put them on there was a mean o gap between the lights and the front bumper! so i have to take off the gasket and turn it around so there won't be a gap!

Clear headlights with amber side markers Vs. Whistler mod and black side markers
which ones look better????

here you can see the gap lower part of the headlight

i wet sanded them with 1000 and i used 3M rubbing compund and it turned out good but i really wanted them to look like my other set so i went and bought this "CLEAR HEADLIGHT" cream at Autozone and i tried it out in a lil area and it didn't clear them up!

I wetsanded mine with 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper, then I buffed them using Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound and Fine Scratch Remover.I finished them off with some Meguiar's PlastX.

I'll post before and after pics in a lil bit.

PlastX on helps to give them a shine not to get rid of the yellow **** on the headlight. If you want to get rid of the yellow stuff you need to wetsand it at a high grit(1000-2000) and then buff them.

Both look good. But the whistlers and black corners now flow with the black 10 spokes you have.
