I was thinking it was a four channel based on the fact that I couldn't see any type of a reluctor on the center of the differential. However there appears to be two reluctor rings on each axle so I'm guessing that makes it a 4 channel....


Revelation Z28 how did you determine it was a 4 channel?

the blue wire connectors next to the backing plates, and the lack of the hole on the top of the housing. a 3 channel will have one connector at the top and just backing plates at the ends.

Any idea how to prep this thing? I sure as hell don't want to spend 2-4 hours sanding this bitch down.... and I don't want to paint over the rust and have it flake everywhere...

Any Ideas?

you can spray a rust remover on it and let it sit for a little bit then blast it off with the water.

or a sand blaster would do it too
