Default Confused on what option to choose! I need your help!

i have a brand new egr style LS6 intake sitting in my room from SLP, and lately i hav been working on a project to try and fit the 4 piston brembo calipers from an Evo and a 13 or 13.4 rotor from the vette, under my 17" 10 spokes, i have been slowly trying to gather some parts together. Now i just found a killer deal on 4 brembo calipers from an evo for sale locally. If i sell my intake i would have more then enough money to complete the project, but i also hear the LS6 intake has some impressive gains. So you guys tell me should i keep the intake? or sell it?

+1 for LS6 Intake I definately felt a major difference above 4000 RPMs on a bolt on car when I put it on last year. Good for a .1-.15 off your ET.

imo, the intake is worth 10-15 hp depending on how many mods have been done.

The intake would be a good gain but those brakes would be a nice setup...you can always find an LS6 intake....even I have one for sale!

True, sell it to me for $50.

My vote is for the intake though.

ls6 intakes sell all day and easy to get..... not so much with the deal you found. Sell it, get your brake package and you won't have a problem finding an intake for sale for what you sold yours for.

Brakes. Never seen or herd about that. Like Ceaser said, you can find a LS6 manifold almost anywhere. Might even be able to run to the junkyard and sneekone out for $50

im gonna go pick up a 13" c5 rotor from some guy and see how far the caliper will fit on the rotor surface. but pads are pricey for these calipers BUT there is like a million companies that make all types of pads for this caliper because it is used on many cars. still considering both so let me go see how good this deal is on the calipers

Eh, to be honest i dont really see the need for changing the brake setup unless you've got some crazy power and or road course it often. A simple set of nice pads and rotors does wonders. I chose hawks n brembos... i love em.

Ls6 intakes w/ EGR are harder ti find then any old intakes. So dont forget that!

Id keep the intake. Just cuz you've already got it... Install that and keep your eye out for the rest of the brake stuff when you've got the cash. UNLESS your getting an absolutely killer deal... but that i image you could forgo lunch a day or 2 for
