Thumbs up will ls7 clutch slow me down?

im getting my ls7 clutch installed in the morning and i was jus wondering if it would slow me down and if so would i be able to notice it?

you might be able to notice a tiny bit of difference. That's simply because the flywheel is alot heavier than the stock clutch. It helps with smoother starts since it provides more rotating mass. But in my opinion it is a great clutch for moderate horsepower.

I can understand where your coming from. ? is it the ls7 clutch kit, if so it has the ls2 flywheel which is a lot heavier than the stock one. Its just going to take longer to get up through your rpm's depending on your hp levels, i have been told that before on the forum. I did a whole lot of research before i got mines installed! People get this clutch kit, simply because of its affordability, feels like a stock clutch and the hp levels it can hold. I suggest you get the new master and slave and while your at it do the drill mod.

I noticed no difference, well other then the fact that the clutch doesn't slip anymore!
