Default 99 hugger orange with 27000 original miles!

ok guys. i really need some feedback on this one. 1999 hugger orange Z/28 with rs appearance package M6 with white and black leather interior. t tops. chrome vette wheels. stock otherwise. i was thinking with the rarity of the 99 ho and it having the Z/28 RS package and the 27000 original miles, i might be looking around the 20ish range? what do you guys think? trades?

You can find an '02 SS, mint condition, same milage for much less. Believe me, I hate it, i've got 35k in mine and probably couldn't get half that for it, so I think you're probably looking at closer to 12-15k honestly. I don't agree with it but just look at the vehicle prices in the for sale section. There's a white '02 SS with 13k miles, 460+ RWHP and people are telling him 21k is way too much!! White is a rare color as well.

thats cool. is white a rare color for all ss's? what about a 2000 ss convertible thats whit with 120 on the clock? i can buy either one, but i want to buy whichever one is worth the most. i buy and sell sports cars a good bit, but i always like to find out from others what people would pay for it.

Hugger orange f-body's (93-02 Camaro's) were ONLY available in 99 so they are very rare (especially with white interior), but I BELIEVE other than that, white is the rarest camaro SS color (available every year). So I would say go with the Hugger but 20k is way too much. Any car with 120k on the odo, will be hard to turn a profit with.

By the way, I used to live in Biloxi. I lived in Tanglewood apartments. Irish hill dr. I believe was the name of the street.

If you can get that for 10 get it!! That is dirt cheap for a car with the RS package and white interior. Very rare!

Good heavens! $10,000 for a 27k mile LS1 car is a super deal as long it is in excellent condition. What are you waiting for? Just one thing though, mileage can be deceiving if the car was driven too hard. I've seen blown Porsche engines with under 10,000 miles on the odometer. Do your homework, but it sure sounds incredible from the surface anyway.

The HO's are rare but it seems most people want them and pay for the cars with the white leater.......... have one with low low miles, an SS, white leather, white top, 6 speed and you will have something then.

To me 27k miles is not low miles.... my 83 Z has 26k miles on it.... It is hard though to find LS1 cars with not a lot of miles on them.

Im not a fan of the RS package and I think most are not.

You can find HO Z's if you look hard and long enough with not to much trouble and get a deal on it. The SS's start to get up there in value.

I bet you could find a nice HO Z for a little over 10.

Id say 8-10k depending on the condition... not a lot of white SS cars... even less that are a drop top..... the miles is what kills it.

If you are wanting to sell the daily drivers for this car and plan to daily drive it then it will not be worth more then any other higher milage LS1 car.
