Likely full of it, but 12psi through a T56 STD that number is within the realm of possible. There are happy dynos out there.
I do find it highly unlikely with shorties, basic exhaust and non-intercooled just being the glaring problems.

12psi a good set of ported trickflows, STD correction and the number should climb a lot. BUT like I said Edelbrock headers likely means shorties, if a bolton Borla it wont support this kind of power either, doesn't say the Trickflows are ported either.
I would bet the current owner bought this car modded and genuinely believes it is that powerful, ignorance is bliss right?

Port the heads, headers, and a pulley swap to go back to 12 psi.....
Yeah I forgot about that. That is assuming the fuel system wasn't "overbuilt" though. Also, powerdyne? I thought they only made those crappy little blowers for stock engines.
