Default Whats it Worth?

I am trying to determine what route I should take so I am trying to figure out what my 1999 Camaro A4 with 125,000 miles would be worth if I converted it back to stock except for the 4.56 gears in the stock 10 bolt rearend and AC system removed. The body is clean and mechanically I would rate it in Good condition, not fair but not excellent.

Kelly blue book will give you a good idea what your car is worth.

I agree. www.kbb.com Your accurate pricing will be 'private party' FAIR condition. Taking out the a/c negates the 'good' condition no matter how nice you feel the car is.
projectX (posted above) may be right about the mods in this instance. Younger buyers would probably look at a 125,000 miles car with interesting mods and won't care a lot about the a/c.

I am in California so it is a track only car here because it wont pass smog. I figured if I put it back to stock and smog it I would have more luck selling locally. I have a big cam I was about to put in it but before I did it I was going to go back to stock to smog it so it would be good for two years then put all the mods back on if I was going to keep it. I think I will finally have the money to put a th400 and a strange s60 in it so that I can start making some real passes to get faster than my 12.08 @ 116 but was considering just selling it because I miss not having a sport bike. What do you think it would be worth with my current mods, big cam, th400 with transbrake and strange s60? I figure I will be putting in about 5-6,000 dollars to do both but don't want to do it if its only going to add little value if I want to resell in a little bit.

Numerous posts about mods value to a car indicate a return of 25%-33% of what you put into it. If you put in $6,000 worth of mods, you might get $2,000 back at sale time. Even that can be pushing it.

That is why I think that I should just take all the race parts off to sell the car as a street car. I bet I could get atleast 50-70% value if I sell the parts by themselves.

I also still have the ac system I just know that putting the lines for it back on will make me cuss as I try to get them in the right spots especially under the cowl.
