Default 2001 black 6 speed corvette with 168k miles?? whats it worth

I might be going to buy this thing later for $9000.. am I getting a good deal? And could I make money on it? It needs a window regulator, ABS module, and some tires within the next 5-6 months. It has black leather in pretty nice condition, chrome y2k Corvette wheels, and all stock.

No, you won't be making any money on a car with that kind of mileage. That mileage scares the crap out of most buyers. When mileage gets that high on any car it tends to become a 'money pit'. Be careful!!

If you haven't left already to purchase the car, $9,000 would be top $$ if the car checked out OK. I would not pay more than that. In my area, probably Atlanta too, www.kbb.com shows a 'good condition' car like that one should sell for about $8,500 in a 'private party' transaction. Good luck!!

You are quite welcome. This new GTO you just posted sure looks decent from the pictures. A bit pricey but sometimes it can be worth it, especially a one-owner that was garage kept most of it's life. You will have to decide after you 'sleep on it'. Each car has it's own merits. Best of luck!!
