Hey guys I found a 2000 SLP SS, 6 speed, 64k miles, original owner, clean carfax, the best part is that the car is BONE stock...the guy who owns it is in his mid 60s...true SLP car ( he has the cert. and build sheet) the car I would say is in either very good to excellent condition. Always garaged and clean all around! Has very minor wear and tear from driving but this car is really nice. Too bad it has the chrome ZR1 wheels I like the regular alloy wheels! What do you guys think?
thanks!
thanks!

In Dec 2010 I bought my 02 SS (blk/blk- mint condition) with 48K miles on it for $12K (from private owner)...How much they asking for?? I also looked at a '98 SS at a dealership before buying the '02 and it had 65-70K miles on it and the lowest they would go was $18,500. I laughed and walked out on the guy.

It isn't bone stock if the original wheels are gone. Anything else? If the car is truly 'very good' as you describe, with no issues at all, then $9,500- $10,000 would be OK to pay. It is getting tougher to find non-abused examples in this lower price range. If a few hundred dollars was separating you from owning the car I wouldn't let it stand in the way. What is he asking? Good luck!

The wheels ARE original and I confirmed the VIN # today with SLP - it is legit.
Thanks guys...he is asking 12,000 or B/O...I was thinking of going with 10K cash, offering him 9 on the spot and seeing what he does...KBB says very good condition goes for 9 and excellent condition goes for 10...
the car isn't flawless or perfect, but it is in between very good and excellent. Brand new tires, plugs, wires, coolant flush....SLP cover comes with the car too!

Yeah I won't spend more than 10,5 if I get the car
As for the wheel swap, If I do get the car I will certainly want to trade for the stock alloy 10 spokes...I am pretty sure though that I am getting a Trans Am GTA but this car is still up in the air...I can't make my mind up!
