Tire options for 315/35r17 ...???
What tire options do we have for a match set of 315/35r17 and a matching front tire ? Im not crazy about nitto's but give some options. I think the Sumo are cheap

This is the same reason I haven't pulled the trigger on 17x11's. There is just nothing out there that appeals to me. I like BFG's and would love a 315KD, but that tire is discontinued. The only tires I like in this size is the Goodyear GSD3's and the Dunlop Sp8000 but both of those are out of my price range for a tire. I may just go with 9.5's all around and the choices are endless. BTW, I have drag radials on dedicated track wheels and there is no way I would ever want to run them daily.

I just traded wheels with a friend of mine. Got the 315-35-17 Sumos on Vette rims in the back. He had them on his V6 Camaro and was happy. I put them on my 315rwhp LS1 with 3500 stall and I'm not impressed. I can spin them as easy as my stock tire/rims. Going around corners they break loose way to easy...and forget driving in the rain! Any decent tire recommendations for a daily driver would be appreciated. Or could dropping the air pressure and laying off the throttle be the way to go? Bigger ain't always better I guess.
