Default Got my new rims on the Bird

Sup guys I finally got some new rims on my car. I went with the TSW Cadwells in 18x9.5 all the way round. Got em wrapped in BF Goodrich
245/40/ZR18. As far as I know I'm the first Bird with these wheels. I have not seen any others. Let me know what ya think.

Looks good but too skinny of a tire for my taste on a 9.5" wide wheel. Should have done like a 275 rear & a 265 front. The actual wheel sticks out further than the tire does which is not really something you want. You accidently scrape a curb your lip is toast on the chrome wheels.

Actual look of the wheel itself though is pretty cool.

Hey man,

Yeah I agree with the above. When you're ready for new tires try larger in the back maybe. But they look great nonetheless, nice choice.

Nice rims but I too agree with needing bigger tires, either that or lower it. Good choice on the wheels though!

Looks good. I would have gone with a gunmetal rim, but its not my car. Congrats.

Thanks for the imput guys. I was not sure about the tire size because I wanted the speedo to be on.... I also wanted to rotate so. I know what you mean though about the side walls and lip.... I did not realise that I would have that issue. LIve and learn I guess.
I been thinking about dropping it a inch or two, but these michigan roads make me nervous. I barely clear some drives now...

I originally wanted gunmetal, but the only thing that had avaible was a 19 and I did not want to go that big.

Rims look nice, but yea the tires look so small.. you can always burn those babies up and buy larger tires

here are a few pics of mine on the goat. i always wondered what the chrome would look like but i wanted to stay dark on my theme.
