10 Spoke Finish Question
I have been looking at getting a set of factory 10 spoke to make into a 35th wheel. There were the Chrome version, the painted silver version, and the original 35th.
My question is if I strip the Painted silver version down is the face Machined like the 35th wheels? Then all I would have to do is Powdercoat/paint th black. I have not found an answer to this yet and have been told yes and no. Thanks

no. a machine finish is a machine finish. the silver ones are not going to have the same look because they were not machined. i have silver 10 spokes painted to look like 35th le wheels and no one can tell the difference. so i would say just paint the silver ones.

the factory primer is a pain to get though, stripper will not do any good
i attached a few pics
the rims were black
the first one is with just stripper the next two are after plastic beaded
