Yes and Yes.. Running a 1" adapter/spacer, and beat the inner fenderwell. probably could roll the fenders, but i have to hit a hard bump for em to rub.

Just curious but what tire would you put on a 16x11? That would be like 2 rubber 55 gallon drums under your car hahahahaha

Good luck finding tires to fit it. I tried to find a 275 in a 16" wheel and never found anything bigger than a 245.

Toyo Proxes drag radials come in 275/45/16.

I don't think it would be wide enough of a tire for a 16x11. BTW, aren't stock wheels 16x8, not 16x9?

Just so you know, that tire is almost 2" taller then the stock tire. So, I'm not even sure if that would fit in the wheel well. It might, but it's probably going to be a tight fit.

The stock Z28, TA, and Formula wheels are 16x8. The WS6, SS, and Hawks use 17x9s.

If you really really like the salad shooter style and want something wider I would suggest running the 91-96 Corvette 17x9 Buzz Saws. If you search hard enough you can actually find the 91-93 17x11 ZR1 rear buzz saw wheels.

Or you can run the 88-90 17x9 Corvette shredder style wheels. Here are pics of both.

91-96

88-90 style

How much does it cost widening the rim out to an 11? It maybe close to the cost of just buying a new set of rims. Not only that, I cant imagine its easy finding a set of 315's for a 16in rim. Then again if you like that rim style and want it, go for it

Save the money you would have spent on wider tires and get new wheels
