For the front I'd shoot for a 38 - 40 mm offset witha 9" wheel, and on the 10" rear, I honestly would feel the same offset range will work well too. I am basing this off my current wheels, which are both 1/2" wider, with similar offsets.

Sorry for the late reply I was away from the computer ALL day . . . .

I quickly scanned all 10 pages of this and didn't see any kind of fitment list for trucks. Any chance some one around here has this information and can add it to the initial post? That would really help us truck guys out, I've been trying to figure out what fits on mine and no one that I have found yet seems to be able to answer the question. Or if you know, point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I'm about to buy a set of OEM ZR1 wheels with 275/45/17 tires.

1. Will these tires rub at all?

2. Would I have to adjust my speedo going from 275/35/18 to 275/45/17?

I have the stock springs on my car with a 3/4 in lowering from the koni shock in front and the spring isolator removed in back.

Thanks for the help! This is a wonderful thread!

I have read every post myself.

seems the wheels I keep finding for a good price
run like this:

New Chrome Corvette C5 replica wheels
Front wheel 17" x 8.5 / 56mm
Rear wheel 18" x 9.5 / 65mm (bigger offset than your list says is ok)

New Chrome ZO6 replica wheels
Wheel size 17 x 9.5
Offset 56 mm

New Chrome Corvette ZO6 replica wheels
Front wheel 17" x 9.5 / 56mm
Rear wheel 18" x 10.5 / 56mm (i like these + i can fit the big ol tires)

17 x9.5 ZO6 Camaro Chrome Rims (+53mm)

I like all these but I am partial to havin at least 275/285's in the back.

I am ok with the Big freakin Hammer mod thingy (lol)
but I am confused as to what this means:

What about an 18x12 w/ a 64 MM offset?

Would this fit with a 335 x 30 x 18 tire?

Everything should fit like a charm. No mods what so ever.

Nope. Too deep into the wheel well.

Xsta,

is it true that ABS wont work at all if I were to do OEM Z06 265/40/17 up front and 295/35/18 in back? Is the offset on the 17 OEM Z06 53 mm?

Thanks Again.

More than likely yes. F-Car ABS does not like dramatically different overall diameters on the tires, unlike the Vette. If you are going to run a 17/18 combo you need to choose tires with similar overall diameters.

Well what would you recommend for the offset w/ that size wheel? This would be for a Z28 that is lowered (basically sportline height). Currently run 285/40/17 on 11" all 4 corners. I want to step up to 18's 9.5 or 10 in the front and 12" out back. My fenders are already rolled the BFH will be next if I can get the right offset. I don't think I'll go w/ a 335 but maybe a 325 or 315 instead.

Thanks!

I really do not feel a 12" wide wheel would fit in the wheel well, of a Camaro, but may on a Firebird. As for offset . . . no clue.

Default Please read first

I'm not stupid, I can read I see the sticky says that +56mm offset fits on my 2001 TA, but the tire shops always tell me that they won't fit. i just need a reassuring person or at least a voice to tell me that they do. My question is will the Corvette Z06 replica rims 17x9.5 with +56mm offset fit on all corners on P275/40RY17?

I am currently running 255/40/17 on the front, and 285/40/18 on the rear on my 2002 TA.

ABS works fine for me in city driving, under 45 mph. If I hit 50 mph for more than 5 seconds or so, ABS shuts off. Doesn't bother me at all, but I am sure it would bother some people.

Absolutely fit like a charm, wheels and tires.

OEM Camaro SS and WS6 wheels are 56 mm . . .
