OK. Thanks. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't need to mod anything....I put in some Sparco seats and started getting antsy about getting custom brackets, so you could imagine how I would feel about a "BFH" mod. Thanks again

I've read through some of the thread and ran a search through it but didn't come up with anything related to "Bogart" wheels so I thought I'd ask some questions.
I've been building up my car bit by bit and it's time for tires, and therefore time for wheels and tires.
My 98 SS currently runs stock ZR-1 wheels with 275s all around. I'm interested in the Bogart Road Race RT wheels.
I don't like the way my car feels on bumpy/rutted roads with 275s up front so I want to go with a narrower tire there. I was thinking maybe a 9 inch or smaller wheel for the front with minimal dishing (if at all possible).
For the rear wheels/tires it's my understanding that an 11 inch wheel with a 315 width tire is about the limit, but I'm a little unclear on the offsets required. Seems like around 50mm for 11 inches? I'd like the rear wheels to have a lot more lip/dish than the fronts.
For the record the Bogard RR RT's are 17in diameter wheels and I guess I'm just looking for suggestions on the specs from you guys.
Thanks.

EDIT: On another board (but from an LS1Tech member's post) I found that they are 16x8" (as I thought) and the biggest is 255/50.
SEARCH IS BROKEN. Has been for hours.
I read through the first four pages, and this page. What the hell is the sizes of my stock 99 Z28 wheel? If it matters, it's the chrome five star. I don't have my car here or I'd look to see, but I'm almost positive that it's a 16" wheel. I only know that some of the SS's came with 17x9.5, but I don't know my width. Just trying to find the biggest tire I can put on my stock rims, and I know that question must have been beaten to death on here (just not in the last three page worth of pots, that I could find).

Sounds like you found a winning combo.

As the sticky states offsets for 11" wheels should be between 44 and 50 mm for best fit.

Z28 5 spoke or snow flakes were 16" x 8"
SS 5 spokes or 10 spokes were 17" x 9"
Z28 biggest tire is a 255/50ZR16

And I'm thinking of going with 9in front and 10.5in rear wheels for the customs...
Just trying to figure out which tires I want.

Hey guys,
I've just bought some black 17" TTM's from Tomzwheels, in 9" front and 10.5" rear, for my '99 Z28 with Strano springs (1.3" drop) and Koni SA's.
I think I wouldn't want anything taller than stock because the car sometimes has passengers at the rear + heavy luggage, so I wouldn't want it to rub.
What tire height and width would you recommend?

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate! I don't know much when it comes to tires and I was a bit lost...
If you don't mind me asking one more question: what tire width/ tire height would be OK at the rear without mods? I've burned all my budget on the wheels, springs and Koni's, so chassis mods could wait until I wear out those tires.
