ive been looking at 16x9.5" TTII and ive been searching about backspacing but i cant find the right offset for these wheels, would i need the 6" backspacing? it says the 5.5 backspacing has a +6mm offset.

Assuming for the rear only . . . An no those will not fit. Offset needs to be 38 mm or higher numerically.

I am going to assume a 9.5" wheel width . . .

The wheels fit fine. As for the tires, I recommend the 275/35RZ18, that way the overall diamter of the tire remains unchanged vrs stock.

i notice a lot of people run 275's. but would 255's work on 18x9.5" Z06 replicas with +57mm? looking to run these on all 4 corners.

thanks.

I've been shifting through pages and couldn't find the answer to my question.

My question is; I have a 2000 Camaro, RS (ground effects, blah, blah), and would really like the C5 Z06 Rims, but I can't find any in a 17x10.5 or 17x11. I'd like to put 315s on the rear and was wondering if I'd be able to do it with an 18x10.5 rim. Would there be much BFH-ing or would I have to cut anything?

Thanks in advance!

:EDIT:

My car is at stock ride height.

More dependant on what tyres your fit

I went from 9" to 9.5" all round but kept the same size tyre - so no difference

A 255 IMHO is too narrow for a 9.5" wide wheel. 275's are PERFECT!

No Z06's in the 17" diameters in the widths you ask for . . .

You could run 18" x 9.5" front, and the 18" x 10.5" rear. You'll need to do some minor BFH, but the wider the tire the more banging. @ 305 IMHO is the max width for a 10.5" wheel.

I want to mount m/t et streets on my 15x8'' wheels should I mount 27x10.5x15 or 28x11.50x15. Looking in summit catalog they both say 8'' wheel, which doesn't make any sense to me .

I don't know very much at all about drag tires, but I guess the bigger question to you is waht diameter tire do you want to run, 27" or 28", I would think it would be tough to fit a 28" diameter tire with out mods.

Thanks, bro. I will most likely end up doing that then, unless I find another style I like before the purchase.

Here's another question, since I'm a knucklehead and still don't have a confident enough grasp on this backspacing/offset business to buy some rims. I'm looking at some cheap chrome cragar 441's, mainly because I can get them in the same size as my stock wheels and use the old tires on account of me being cheap. They're 16x8's (I have the 16x8 snowflake looking wheels on a 2000 z28) and I found them with the correct bolt spacing of 4.75 inches, rear spacing listed as 4 1/2 inches. Will this fit, or am I about to do something ridiculous?

Stock wheels have a 6.5" BS, therefore the wheels you quote will move outwards 2" . . and I believe will stick out of the wheel well.

I got an easy question for you.... These wheels,https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/788356-z06-chrome-wheels-20-a.html. Will the bolt up to a SS or is it crucial to know you MM number on them.

I know I read the comment earlier about the biggest you'd go is 18, but its not a bad deal. Plus, just curious if they'd even work w/out breakin anything out but the lug wrench.

TIA.

The bolt pattern in the same so they will bolt up, but with out knowing the backspace of offest, I cannot tell if they fit and F-Car.

Thanks, thats what I figured. I didn't want to mess w/ it so I actually just went w/ a 17/18 combo since I knew they'd fit.
