29x10.5 slick fitment
i may be getting a set of hoosier 29x10.5 slicks was just wondering what their fitment will be like how much work will i have to do to fit them ect.? they will most likely be on 15x8 summit rims w/5.5 bs.

while i wouldnt run a 26" tire from an appearance perspective, i think that tire would be fine for you traction wise. do you have an adjustable torque arm, shocks, etc?
harder you hit the tires, the more you are going to have to work on the suspension setup.
oh yea. the lighter the car the worse it will get. not a good combo for a 29.5 to be on a 8" wheel.
29x9 or a 30x9 works great if you go that route.

im really not to worried about the traction as i stated before i am running out of gear top end with my nitrous. that is the reason im looking at a taller tire. and i really dont care how the tires look on the car they would be strip only tires

i dont know how high you spin it. ill guess 6600.
with a 28" tire and a 3.73 gear, your car has a mathematical speed of 147.45mph
figure in converter slip of 6-8% and your car can go around 135mph.
higher rpm, you can go mph of course.
it would be close on a 26" tire depending on how much you intend to spray, but it may still make it.
