ACTUAL C6 ZO6 wheels..Spacer size for 00 T/A!
PICS INSIDE NOW!!
OK so I have Actual Vette wheels from C6 ZO6. The Rears then are 19X12 with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar EMT 325/30ZR19 tires. These have the OEM offset to fit a Vette, so how much space do I need to fit them on my 00 Trans Am? I'm guessing between 1.5, 1.75 and 2.0 inch??? Someone help me so I can buy the right hub adapter to mount these up. (I know its 4.5" on 5 lug adapting to same)
Thanks, Swat.

These are the threads I have saved on the subject.

Oh, and chill out. Your thread has been up for less than a day and your looking for info on a modification that isn't too common....yet. I also have to say I'm a bit mystified as to why you wouldn't just try to see of they fit since you already have them. BTW lug spacing is 5 x 4.75 on your car not 5 x 4.5. Post up pics when your done, I bet they look killer on a TA. Good luck,
Larry

You're right, 4.75 I mis-typed that. The rims don't fit at all, I'm removing and flattening the bumpstop, BFH modding the front or the wheelwell an rolling the lip. I want em spaced outwards a bit because I hate how the top of the tires sit almost 2 full inches in from the top outside of the rear wheelwell. I want it out some for looks, bu you're saying I won't need the spacer to clear IMPORTANT parts like LCA or anything?? Wife has class tomorrow so Weds I'll get out and put a wheel in the place I want it and get the pics I promised. Had a small riot at work today so it's been a long day.

Ok so I spent an hour and a half working on the drivers side wheelwell and got the bumpstop cut off and most of that bulge by the spring as well as a bit of the unibody/frame as well as plenty of hammering. My goal is to have as close to an inch of clearance everywhere. I've got more pounding to do but I got a few pics off while I was test fitting. I'll have em up tomorrow!

You just cut away a structural part of the car where the coil buckets are...
And if you must use cinderblocks to support the car, stand them like they would be in a house, and put a piece of plywood between the car and the block.

Eskimo- I plan to weld in metal where I made the cuts in order to regain strength. I couldnt use the blocks the "right" direction because of the wet weather we've been having making the ground so mushy. Only used em because it took longer to get the tires in than it took to sell my old WS6 wheels.
LT4vert- These dont tuck like replicas because most replicas are 10" wide to fit f-body cars. My wheels are made for the ZO6 Vette and are 12" wide. I'm without a hood for now since I sold my WS6 one and am waiting on a FVN 4" Ram Air hood. I'm also waiting on my front tires to arrive so I can mount those wheels up. After all that, I'll get pics up.
black_sheep454- I plan to lower it just a bit to close that gap. Shouldnt be any problems since I'm rolling the wheel well lip.
Caramaro- Have fun and good luck! Took a LOT of banging to the front of the wheel to get some clearance.
Thanks everyone for your comments!

Caramaro, I say good luck because it's a good bit of work. When I started I had just a
big sawzall that I was trying to do all the cutting with. My new compressor (after my old
one was stolen) wont run my cutoff wheel. I later switched to a cutoff disk on my angle
grinder. After you get that cutting done, you gotta do a LOT of hammering on the front
of the inner wheelwell and more yet if you're like me and want plenty of clearance to
avoid rubbing. I did it all in my yard with the car on bricks so you can imagine I didnt
have a lot of room to work in. It's worth it all tho in the end!
Eskimo- I/m going to be welding in a plate where I cut by the coil to reinforce the area
and for looks as well.

UPDATE::::
got my wheels today!
obviously fronts fit great.
i didnt do as much bfh mod as you...and i didnt remove the whole bumpstop...just the huge ridges along it.
i have a lot less room around the wheels as you...buy my wheels have 305/30 pirelli's...
i have a little rubbing on the drivers side front...inner wheel well. but most everywhere else i have about 1/2 inch of room.
i also have adj. phb and lcas.
they also dont stick out past the fender at all....
