Cool Another Poll! Only 2 choices for my MBM Z28

So I love the wheels that I currently have on my car now (18x9.5 fronts and 18x10.5 rears) C6 wheels in Black Chrome.

Current picture of my car:

I will be getting one of these two wheel choices sometime down the road once the tread wears off my current tires, so this poll is a vote between these two wheels and color choices specifically:

Choice 1) Painted gloss black C6 Z06 wheels in the same size/combo I have now:

http://www.shop.jwmotoring.com/produ...&categoryId=19

Choice 2) The same exact wheels I have now but in Chrome (not black chrome), aka C6 chrome wheels: (I'll get 10.5 wide rears)

http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Camaro-Wh...02147-3-1.html

Here is why I'm sticking with my decisions on choice of color etc:

1) I am a college student still and work full time and recently bought a house, so these wheels are in my budget.
2) I love the styling of both wheels and I love the current wheels that are on my car.
3) I think chrome only looks great on thick spoked wheels. Aka, chrome looks cheap to me on thin spoke designs. ie; HP EVO wheels look GREAT in finishes like hyper silver, etc, but the same wheel in chrome looks really CHEAP to me. This is why chrome, to me, looks great and is my finish of choice on the C6 style wheel, and thus the reason why the gloss black works better in my eyes on the C6 Z06 wheel.

I am sticking with the stated finish for each wheel (chrome for C6 and gloss black for the C6 Z06) so the choices for each wheel come with the finish I want for it.

It's just now I am not sure between the two which would look better.

Chrome always looks amazing on the MBM cars like mine, but the glossy black on my two tone theme appearance (light blue paint on black accents like sail panel / tinted windows / headlights / etc) continues the trend and will look more aggressive.

PS: I am also including a third option "other" ONLY if you know of a wheel that is 1) priced within the same budget as these wheels and come in, 2) come in the 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 size and 3) would match my car well.

So have at it and explain why you like one or the other! Thanks guys!

Also, within the next year or so I'm upgrading my brakes with a big brake upgrade and the calipers will be black, as well.

I'm also voting for "option 3" only so I can view the results instantly; this isn't my actual vote.

why not just sell the two rears and buy the 10.5/11" wide for the rears and be done. I think the wheels you've got look fine on the car...just my .02...no reason to waste more money on a car that looks good as it sits......

Sorry just saw you're sig.....and since they're already 10.5....just get new tires and spend you're money elsewhere.....

I bought the current wheels and tires used from a member on here a while back and they have curb rash, etc, but still work well. They will be used as a spare set with snow tires on them down the road or something of the like.

So, again, I'll most likely be getting one of these two sets of wheels.

Thanks though.

Out of those two choices, I think the c6z06 would look mean as hell.

But have you considered chrome or black C5DD? I think the chrome or black in 18x10.5 with a lip and 18x9.5 (when they come out in a month) would look great!

Option 3 for me because I have never been a fan of the other rims. ^^ How about those C5DD?

I gotta say the black chrome looks awesome on your car. Of the two choices you list, I'd go with chrome hands down. If you wanted black, I'd look for something that had a machined or polished rim and black center rather than all black.

But I'd still say chrome will look better, and to be honest, the black chrome may still look best of all.

I also thought the black z06's would look mean as well, but I'm sometimes bad at imagining them on my car, so that's the reason for this poll/thread.

I'm not a fan of those wheels, honestly, otherwise I might have taken a closer look at them. But maybe I'll sit on it a bit more to see how I feel.

I usually like the look of a "lip" on the rear of a car but for some odd reason, lips on Camaro's look funny to me, but on Firebirds they look fine...

Hmm

Like I said I prefer black wheels with a machined lip but for some reason on Camaro's, to me, all black looks better most of the time.

Lastly, does anybody make a black chrome version of the C6 Z06 style wheel? If someone did then the need for this thread would not exist as I would buy them, lol.

I would but the current wheels are not in the best shape, so when I need to get new tires I will be getting new wheels, too.

Thanks everybody keep them coming and any answered to my other questions in this post would be more than welcome

Not trying to sound like a dick, but I've actually said it three times already so I'll copy and paste:

"I would but the current wheels are not in the best shape, so when I need to get new tires I will be getting new wheels, too."

They do make C6 Z06's in black chrome, but they're a pretty penny more than the other styles you've listed.

However, I do they think would look killer on your car!

I was just going to say that I stumbled upon a companies official website (the same company that posted those wheels on your ebay link) that has the C6 Z06 wheels in black chrome...

Damn that looks good...
