I have read that the Billet Specialties 15x4 1.625" Backspacing bolt right on stock LS1 brakes and I have read that they require a little bit of grinding or a small spacer.
Anyone know if this size will bolt on? Or if another size it a better choice? Thanks in advance, Dave

My calipers were already clearanced since I had Draglites prior to the Billet Specialties. I am running the size you are talking about and they fit with NO spacer but again my calipers are already "clearanced"

Here's a tip. Also look at your B/S 15" fronts. One of mine had a little pimple of weld that stuck out, that I either had to knock down a bit or grind my brakes more. So I knocked that high spot down (took very little off). The weld line on the inside of the fronts corresponds to the outer edge of the caliper. Don't forget eye protection.

got it done. was easy. hardly had to take anything off at all. litteraly 45 seconds a side with the grinder. just hit the edge once quick test fit and the lower corner of the caliper touched a tiny bit so knocked that down and all is good.
and damn traction is FUN!
