Had a couple mustang friends with them and they liked them. Not sure how long they'll last if your build is a street vehicle, I would imagine they are pretty soft. None the less, if they were free, I'd definitely rock them.

I have 325-50-15's with about 200 miles on them and they don't seem to wear very well. One is half gone, I have a spool, go figure.

I have run them in 17" and 18" and like them both, though they only last me one summer.

Never used em myself, but noticed on friends cars they hook well, but they wear FAST! If i remember right, they run pretty wide too.

I've had them (BF Goodrich) and the M/T Drag Radials.
The M/T's hooked better but didn't last as long as the BFG's.
But if your buddy gave you a set, HAVE FUN !

I have some 295/36-18 bfg drag radials and i like them. When they have heat in the them they dead hook, only thing is once they get down to the wear marker *which took alot longer than i thought it would considering the "0" treadwear* DO NOT DRIVE THEM IN THE RAIN! The smallest little twitch in the steering wheel will result in the vehicle wanting to go sideways.

I got stuck in the rain last weekend with my brand new BFG G-force radials and it was scary. I wouldn't drive these tires in the rain regardless of tread IMO.

My Experience with Drag Radials on the street:

BFG lasts longer than an MT but doesn't hook as well

BFG hooks better than a Nitto but Doesn't Last as long

Hoosier hooks better than everything and burns out fast.

From what I have seen the Hoosier DR is the best DR for a manual trans.Soft compound and soft sidewall.

As an aside, I was in a ******* downpour on my BFG drag radials and it was spooky but do-able. Anyone that thinks they can drive normal in the rain with any DR on doesn't deserve to have a license..

I like them, better than Nitto's no doubt.

Better street manners than my MT's as well.

Awesome looking tire.

Are you serious? Not having tread causes you to hydroplane?

I agree with this statement, I had quite a few thousand miles on my BFGs. I put M/Ts on there and they didnt last but a thousand miles. I never had a problem with my BFGs in the rain, 70mph and it didnt move anywhere at all.

I like them so far for street runs/use, but I have yet to get them to hook at the track. I'm only 440rwhp btw.

Whats the word on the tire wear? I hear MT DRs last longer, then people here say the BFG lasted longer.

I doubt MT's last longer than anything, other than perhaps Hoosier or M&H's.
