These were made in 2008. I noticed they have some cracking in the tread groves. I'm going to be buying these off someone but I'm a little concerned. He says they only have a few hundred miles on them.

WOW- these tire haven't been out long enough to be dry rotting already!! I got a set on my car that I bought when they first hit the market(before they recalled the first batch), and they aren't dry rotting.

That would prolly be fine(my old fronts were worse, but they were 6-7 yr old nitto's), but I would use them up(shouldn't take long.LOL) pretty quickly.

Do you guys think they are worth buying for $290? I was told they only have a few hundred miles on them.

yes i would snag them, however mileage isnt the issue i would base it off of the amount of burnouts and track passes. i would say the tread is at about 70% based on how close to the tread bars they are

offer $250, the guy selling them obviously got some use out of them

I ended up passing on them. I'm sure I'll find another used set for just as cheap. I'm hoping to pick up some 315/40/18 Nitt NT05r's.
