Default Mickey Thompson Sportsman Front Tires

I got some Mickey Thompson sportsman's font runners 26 x 7.5-15 Bias- 8 Ply Im wondering what would be a good tire for the rear now. I cant run a drag radial tire because the front is a bias and if you run a radial your car kinda gets out of control at the end of the track when you hit the brakes is this correct? anyways im looking for a tire for the rear that will work with my front sportsman's anyone running this tire let know what your running at the rear thanks for your help.

ET streets, thats about it or any of the bias ply DOT's if you stick to the don't mix radial/bias ply rule of thought.

Maybe a big Sportsman, but those are more of a pro street/T-bucket type tire

Never had a problem here with either one. Ran the Sportsmans with Radials and slicks.

How wide are the rear wheels?

I think its a problem only if you run radials in the front and bias ply out back. I tried that several years ago and the *** end would woble on the big end. I run 325/50's DR's with Sportsmans up front and and its as smooth as glass.

I can not see a radial in the front and a bias ply in the rear causing any sort of issue. Makes no sense, other than perhaps the tire growth throwing off the ABS sensor temporarily. However you should not have to lock the brakes up to get slowed down. I can see have a mixture of radial and bias ply mixed on the rear axle being an issue.
