Black Wheels
This is my first post on LS1-tech and a picture of my black wheels. I had these built for the car in 2001. 18" HRE's. Joined the board because I might want to go LS stroker. Thanks.

This black rim crap somehow got me. I finally jumped on and upgraded to some black like 18's. I will spam the pictures of my car sporting these new exciting wheels of mine when they arrive

it seems like mostly the black wheels that don't look good, are on younger kids' cars. because they would rather have something that appears custom compared to the factory wheels, and instead of saving the coin to buy a nice set of wheels they skip on down to wal mart and pick up a rattle can of black paint. personally i would rather keep my factory wheels clean than go to town on them with a 5 dollar can of paint. a nice set of black wheels looks damn good on amlost anything though.

Thoose arent a carbon fiber look, they are carbon fiber.
And I agree with you, (I think) I dont care for the fake carbon fiber, or the dinoc stuff, like interior and what not. Carbon Fiber is obviously lighter weight but I think it takes alot do get the job done. Not just adding a hood and nothing else to achieve that look.

I totally agree that Carbon Fiber is strong, yet extremely light weight, so it definitely has its place in performance minded applications.
All I'm saying is, Paint it. Otherwise the only reason you have it on your ride unfinished (unless you have an actual race car) is for status.
