Default 17x11 for whats its worth (new tire PICS) End

I don't know how y'all get them to fit.

I just got my 17x11 Billet Specialties I ordered the largest possible backspacing I could fit. 8.25" I even moved my bumpstop to inside my coil springs and shaved off the extra metal in the wheel tub. A straight edge layed against the wheel just touches the insides of my rolled fender lips! I can't imagine the 315 tires which are suppose to be 12.5" wide won't rub!

I guess custom body work to flare my fenders is next!!!!!!!

When I got my Torque Thrusts they were just ordered for a 98-02 Fbody so I don't know my backspacing but i know i had to grind the sides of the bumpstops and I beat the inner fenders just for some insurance. Some people roll the fender lips but I didn't. Thats with a 315 35.

8.25" is a lot of backspacing. Any reason why you didn't go with the normal backspacing? When I had my Street Lites they fit like a freaking glove.

I wanted them to fit in the wells, I have 1/2 inside before the inner wheel well. ITs the outside thats the problem. I could even use 8.375 bs i think. I relocated my bumpstop inside my custom rear coil mount perch, so the factory bump stop perch is shaved.

Trans Ams have wider hips than Camaros so I'm not too sure why you were so worried about the fitment. 7.75" would have been fine.

did you measure up the other side? might need to adjust your panhard bar.... also, perhaps your car was wrecked pretty well at one point and it's all kittywomp in the *** end...

Before I measured I centered the wheels with my adjustable panhard bar they have identical clearance side to side while against the bumpstop.

Default Tires On!

They clear mostly due to the roll in the tire profile. I can't see how people get 7.75 BS to fit in the well.

Damn dude that looks tight. I seem to have a car like yours were everything seems tighter than its suppose to be. I don't have my tires yet, but everything seems to be a really snug fit. Next week I'm going to order some nitto nt555s and see how they fit and then adjust my plan from there.

Do you have any pics of how you cut up your bumpstops? I'm installing ground control bumpstops on my shocks. I cut off my bumpstops but need to get them flatter like yours are.

Great choice on wheels, they look badass

You slammed guys are funny, I'll take a ride height picture but its 6.75" from the front lower control arm bolt to the ground. That picture is just short of touching the meatball to the car and the axle tube to the exhaust. My bumpstop is adjustable.

Beside a little lower would look cool but I've already put 2 dings in my left KOOK's 17/8's header.

This my stance, I will probably drop it another 1/4" front and 1/2" in the back.
