Default CCW/Iforged/Fikse

I am hoping to buy new wheels next month and Im having trouble making up my mind. With Fikse big sale I thought my mind was set on 17" FM10s. The price was a little high I thought still then I went to CCWs, either 505s/SP500 with a minimal front lip so I can run a BBK up front. I also contacted Iforged but their customer service still seemed spotty as I stopped getting responses from their rep. Heres some pictures and prices. What would you do in my shoes?

Fikse FM10 $2750 for 17's. Cheaper tires but no BBK.

Senekas $2580 for 18's 2 PC. 8-10 week build time

SP500 with BBK $2700 for 18's

505s with BBK on a TA. They have always been my dream wheel but everyone has them. Would have the same front lip as the SP500s pictured and would also be $2700.

Classics came into the mix late. Titanium face with polished lips. $2600. Phtoshopped on NBM by Dr. Tran

Senekas are my vote with the fm10s being second.

You're in the thick of wheel fever. So any custom built wheel is normally going to take weeks at this time of year.

Who did you talk to at iForged? Vince or his wife?

LOL, funny how 3 of the cars in this thread are mine, and my friends. We have good taste!

I recognized Craig's and yours. I wanted to do the senekas, but it wasn't in my budget.

2580 is a lot for a 2 piece wheel. Cost of metal and manufacturing has gone through the roof on these billet pieces though.

At that price I'm not sure I'd jump on them. Then again, they are the first thing people notice.

Exactly the reason I went with mine.

Also OP why not 18 fm10s?

Bad *** I love your car and have a few of your pictures saved. CCW told me 2 weeks for a set to be built. I contacted Steve Lin at Iforged and he responded several times then stopped answering my questions. I got that price quote from Tony for the Senekas. Tran, Fikse 18s were $3200 and I didnt want to go that high. Plus I like the idea of 17s with a fat 315 out back.

For what it costs to jump up to 18s I can just about buy 4 17" tires.

Ill be honest Ive always loved Senekas. The 2 piece without the hardware is something I always wanted and their the cheapest of the bunch. I was just kinda pissed with their customer service and waiting 8-10 weeks is a lot. Danny at Fikse and John at CCW were great to deal with. If it wasnt for Nineball I would of never found out how much the Iforged were. I wish this was an easy choice..

I was going to throw that in there and say Whatley can get some deals on the iForged. But you already have that tidbit of info LOL.

Iforged has always been extremely stand up in dealings with them in my experience. I ordered a new set of center caps via their website the other day, and Vinces wife called me and let me know she would have them out that day. Mine took 4 weeks to build, however I ordered when the snow was still on the ground, and it was also 2002. iForged hadnt taken off the way they are now. They've got a whole new line of concave wheels out now, and I'm sure they are STACKED with work. Theres threads popping up everyday on the higher end forums.

2 weeks to build a set of custom wheels is impressive, and CCW quality is excellent.

2 Weeks is killer time seems how mine were a 4 week build... and they aren't multipiece.

Yessir! What about the F14 modular wheel from Forgestar? That is in that price range, and unique?

I remember checking out the F14Fs when I saw your car. I like them but really want to go full polished and or chrome, the faces are available in the same finishes as the one piece Forgestars. Ive honestly even considered F14s or CF5s and then sending them out to be chromed..

Well those have the Chrome lip, I think that Textured gunmetal (or black) with a chrome lip would look good. To bad you couldn't do a brushed center with a chrome lip

Ya I wish they were fully polished lip and face. I think F14s would look pretty sweet in chrome with a BBK behind it. I wana see these new Iforged Concave wheels.
