Default 2000 SS Camaro Wheel/Tire Question

I have a 2000 SS Camaro, just bought 18x8.5 front wheels and 19x10.5 tires 245/45/18 and 285/35/19. Went to the shop for installation and they wouldn't fit. I'm guessing I need spacers on the front and 1.25" adapters on rear, is that correct? I also need help with what Springs??? Please, I need some advice

a trick you should try is to lift the rear by the axle, not the body,

but every car is unique, my 295s barely fit, some guys get 315s no problem. Your backspacing is also an issue

but yeah, try lifting it by the axle.

if not, BFH

So the 1.25" adapters and spacers will do?.....Not sure exactly how to lift the rear axle.

You probably need a 30 series tire too. 35 on a 19 will be to tall. Im running a 295/30/19 rear with a +40 offset wheel and that's .3 inch taller than stock. Also lowered close to 2inches.
