Default Post Pics of Long Wheel Studs

I've seen quite a few Cobras with these, but not any F-Body's. Please post up pics if you have them.

I have the ARP 3.25" rear studs on my car but with these wheels you can't really tell:

Not really understanding the point of this other than making it impossible to use a closed end lug nut that doesn't look like crap...

^Arp hardened studs only come in one length. You have to cut them to stock size, but some people dont

I though there was some NHRA class rules about needing the longer studs...
Or maybe it was open lugnuts. Hell, I can't remember.

In order to run slicks at the tracks by me you need a longer stud. (Englishtown, Atco, Island) It's a safety rule.

Correct...and all "race" wheels that require a shanked lug nut require longer studs to be NHRA legal.

They come in 2 lengths. 2.5" and 3.25". I have 2.5s on my car.

I actually have those on the front wheels with the 3.25" on the rears. Figured since I was changing the rears I would change the fronts to be safe.

What I read about the rule is that the Lugs have to protrude at least the diameter of the Stud into the HEX portion of the Lug Nut! On my car with Weld Racing Prostars, the 2.5" Studs barely do that on the rear and the fronts do not even come close with a 5/16" Spacer which the company reps told me I would be good to go but I am not so they will exchange them for me to the 3.25" Studs but there is a huge price difference!
