How badly worn are they?

I raced on 315s on all four corners in a pretty heavy rain and was only 3 secs behind a STI in the rain, 6 secs ahead in the dry. I was making 540rwhp at the time too.

I did drive them home same day in the rain and they did plane pretty bad above 50mph. The autocross was on a well drained lot, so no real standing water to speak of. Just curious if it was deep water causing your issues?

The tires are new....and I was having problems because of **** poor drainage on parkways around Brooklyn... At one point the very first time I drove these in the rain... I was doing about 40 up a hill over a bridge and kinda got slid a col lanes... Shortly after I was doing 30 with 4 ways on... Lol

I have a set on the rear of the Z06. They're almost on the wear bars. I'm adventurous, but I wouldn't even contemplate driving it in the rain.

My old street set up was 555RIIs on the front and 555Rs on the rear. 510 rwhp and it was fine when I got caught in the rain. I never pushed my luck but no evil habits were observed.

I drove V710s on the street in rain and at a couple autocrosses. Strangely they seemed a little better in puddles than the R888s. I might have just been lucky.

Some seem fine, some not so good.

^555Rs have been the best tire for me in the rain, better then 555s, 450s, and conti extreme contacts.
