Default 14" and 15" MANGELS?

Hey guys i was at a pick and pull and saw this 80-90s camaro with wheels similar to these

the fronts were 14s and the rear 15s. I have yet to find the name of the rims and the exact look b/c my phone wasnt on me at the time. im gonna go back and get pics later today.

My question is will they be better than my 17 and 18 fake zo6s in the performance dept?

they should be lighter but im not yet sure if they were aluminum or steel.

Also how much do you think my speedo will be off?

its a little hard to tell in the pic but they appear to be old school chrome steel "modular" rims. They are about the cheapest wheels you can buy new. and the speedo would depend on the tire size on the rear wheels, and if they are different front to rear height wise then there will be ABS issues as well.

They look like ****, and are probably heavy chrome plated steel. You will not fit 14" wheels on your car, and the 15" ones will take a fair amount of work to fit. There are very affordable street/strip wheels out there now made by both Weld Racing and Bogart, that will fit your vehicle with no issues, and be lighter than anything else out there.

there happened to be a 94 camaro there. so i took the wheels over to it. The rims and tires fit, soooo uh is that a fluke?

Btw the pattern is not the same as the pic but its the best i could find. i believe them to be aluminum b/c the felt kinda light.

but thanks for the info ill look into the other brands

Was it a V6? V6s and LT1's have smaller brakes than LS1 cars. The wheels you linked are not what you want. These are:

Why? They're not going to fit on your car in 14" or 15" diameters.

not to be a downer but there is only 2 sizes available that might even have a possible chance of fitting on the rear and I'm pretty sure you won't get them to fit on the front at all. The only performance advantage I see is a cheap set of wheels to mount slicks on, but then you would probably be better off with some salad shooters in that department as well.

the 16s are only available in 6 lug, and you would have to get a 7 inch wide wheel for the backspacing to work otherwise they would stick out the fenders.
