Don't know about availability, but Goodyear did state the tire is not discontinued.

Maybe contact Goodyear directly.

Thank you for contacting our web site and for your interest in Goodyear tires. The Eagle F1 GS D3 still shows as a current tire in our data base and we have not been informed that it is being discontinued.

I really like it too! It has a really unique tread design.

They still make the tire. If you check tirerack for example they have other sizes in stock like the 275/40/17. For some reason the 315/35/17 has been on backorder forever. Hopefully they haven't discontinued that size. I've been checking on and off for a while hoping to see a "in stock" status but no luck.
