17x11 zr1's all around
I have been searching all over the Internet lately trying to find pictures of a firebird/trans am (preferably lt1) with 17x11 DD Zr1's on all four corners. I have been itching to buy a set from oewheels as an autox/road racing setup. My plans are to run nitto NT01 or NT05's 315/35/17 on all four corners. But for the life of me, i cannot seem to find any pics (of decent quality) with this rim setup. So I have decided to ask you all, thank you.

I have tried google searches like crazy, I've already found the thread that was posted as well. That thread isn't very close to what I'm looking for really. But thank you. I'm still trying to find the DD zr1's 17x11 all around on a Pontiac. I know they exist somewhere

Not sure why an LT1 would be any different as the 4 gens all have the same openings.
an option to consider would be TTMs, I use 10.5 x 17s on all 4 corners for my track/autocross set up. The down side is you can not fit a bigger brake in there. I would love to have CTS V brakes, but they will not fit. I even checked the other brake solutions and they do not go. I am prety sure the Vette track bracket solutions will though.
Anyway, they look pretty tough on the car, though I prefer my staggered on the street.
Autocrossing on them.
.
Mine do not really stick out, but I do run -2.0 degrees of chamber, which helps to keep the top tucked in.
I only have one mod on the front end for clearnce. I added 4 screws through the plastic inner fnders to keep them pulled back to the metal as there was some rubbing at full lock. Nothing major though. No spacers, nothing.

Keep both hands on the wheel if you have more than street tire on it. They do stick amazingly well though.

I have 10.5" TTMs now and both front and rear are the same offset. Mind you they are different than the ZR1 offsets. I had a set of staggered TTMs, so again I was able to do a static test fit before buying a complete set of the 10.5" rims. There is a penalty withthat nice deep dish look of the TTMs, it has tighter brake clearance. I still run the stock fronts, but with Carbotechs.
I used to have a set of real ZR1s and got the 35mm offset, but had 4-5mm milled of them to make them roughly a 40mm offset and they were my initial test fit on the front. They did sit about flush on the rear and I had the fender wells rolled. These tuck in a little better.
I do recall some one that had a custom set of 17 x 11" wheels made, tell me they used 40mm offset front and rear.

Is that a Camaro thing?

A Firebird can accomodate more rear tire, it's fender is shaped differently.
This may be a Zr1 wheel deal, they made 2 offsets, a 5xmm and I think a 36mm.
The 5xmm goes on the rear and the 36 on the front to clear brakes.
Cant remember the rear offset though. Fifty something.
Been a while since I researched it.
