Default Never had rims before.. Looking for simulars,, Im not rich :)

Been thinking of some rims for my camaro.. Ive never bought any rims in my life so I dont know squat about spacing and ect.. But I do know what looks good...

My camaro is silver so I was wanting a back/siver lip combo to make it POP..

so far I have been looking at the fm5's that I saw in this post.. https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...-thread-4.html

I actually sent DJ a message and asked him how much his rims where.

The answer I got was quite depressing

4,000 was the answer without tires..

I looking for something simular that is affordable and I just cant stand the way the the zo6 zr1 and simular rims look..

Like I stated above I have never bought rims before so im pretty much in the closet about what brands come close to this..

Trust me if I had 4k to waste I would drop it in a heart beat for those fm5s, but its not idealistic for my pockets..

open for suggestions.

thanks guys.

^ That and where in NC you located. If your wanting something on the cheaper side but new and don't have to worry about spacing etc., look up OEWheelsLLC.com. All you have to do there is pick the style, color and size as far as 17's, 18's or whatever you want if they have it.

forgestar and c5dd is your best option for budget wheel, you can find a good set of used fm5s with tires for anywhere in the 2 to 2700 range, your not going to find fake look alike fm5s anywhere, you cant copy works of art, you pay for the best, i would just keep on the look out for some used fm5s on tech, they pop up all the time

I know you said you want a black with a silver lip, but there are some c6 z06 wheels that are half black half aluminum finish, its hard to describe but i think oewheels sells them and i know you can find them on ebay. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see them.
Good luck finding something!

Honest the sportmaxx to me look like cheap ricer wheels, that is if im thinking of the right wheels, op c5dd from oe wheels is the best looking wheel for the money, if anything people say they kinda look like ccws,i forged aeros, i wont compare a high dollar wheel to a budget wheel but they are nice, or you could look intohave billet street lites, i think those are under 2 grand for 17s

I've never dealt with Sportmax 962's but I was considering them at one point. What do you mean by them looking cheap? In general they look cheap or up close (quality)?

2500 can get you some brand new CCW's...OR used FIKSE's OR used CCW's

there is sign of life with that wheel budget...

2500 with tires? Or just wheels? If you need both for under 2500, then forgestar hands down.
