Half of you fit in this category, so which street tire (not drag radial) gives a good solid and confident feel? I can tell you now that it's not Sumitomo HTR ZIII. Do not buy these tires if your car has more than 250ftlbs of torque unless you want you car pointed the opposite way of traffic. Wrap your rims in electric tape instead. That will give you better traction than these tires.
I'm leaning towards Michelin Pilot Super Sports, but I've been just "leaning" due to the price in the size I need (275/30/20). I see Invo's on a lot of parked cars, but I haven't spoken to anyone that has them.

Yes, there are....several thousand. The problem is finding the thread that pertains to such a question. It's simple to search forums for a particular tire brand or model, but the question was a bit too general. You can only search for street AND tire, not "street tire"....or at least that never works for me. street AND tire brings up half the threads on the forum.
Anyhue, thanks for the links. I mean that sincerely, but the the Proxes 1 was the only street tire mentioned in either, which is goes along with why I started this thread.

I run the firestone wide ovals 295/35/18 on my car they hook pretty good for the most part they even hook better if you can get a little heat in them, and they smoke like crazy if you feel like blowing them off

I just got a set of NT05s... might be worth checking out. I hear good things about the Invos too, buddy of mine just got the NT05s a couple months ago and he says they stick well for him... but, his car is a heavy *** 5th gen on 20s too.
Its been raining here recently, once it gets good and dry I plan on having a little fun and seeing how well they stick.

Agreed, they are just street radials, some drag radials will hook really good. Cousin of mine has a Supercharged Tundra making around ~500~RWHP and he bought some street radials from Nitto (dont remember what number) and the truck would NOT hook for crap! Lol Soo he decided to change to drag radials soo he purchased Drag Radials from M/T ET and there was a HUGE difference! It would hook from dig runs to even 30rolls.
