Default Lowering on 18/19 question

I have 99 Z28 on 18/19 at stock height right now but I want to lower it with sportlines. I know that hardly nobody likes them but I love the way they improve the look despite the ride quality. I would like to know if they 'll rub in the back? I am using 1.25 spacers and the tires are 285/35. Any pics and suggestions would be great.

i may not be much help to you man, but here's a pic with sportlines and 19's all the way around....if you get the offset right, it shouldn't be a problem.....(these are +44mm rear offset 19x11, +48mm front 19x10)

either way, there's alot you can do as far as making things fit......cutting out the bumpstops, BFH, rolling the rear fender lips in, etc.....at one time, i ran 17x11's with 335's on my 98 while lowered between 1.75-2"

my bad, i should've mentioned that this picture isn't my car.....it belongs to another member, but i love CF5's and couldn't pass up a chance to ***** out one of my favorite pix of a 4th gen.......i always thought 19's were too big until i saw this setup.......i'm still trying to decide between these wheels or black F14's for the street....

Really!? I wanted to go with stranos but I wanted a more aggressive look. I know that the stranos would be a lot better ride quality vs looks. I had the sportlines with a spring spacer and no bump stop on my white ws6 with ccw 505a's 19x11. After 10 years of driving with those I didn't miss them if you know what I mean lol.

I don't blame you. I picked up stranos for $70 and heater hosed the rear. (that is what is in that picture above) I didn't so much mind the ride of the pro kit. I disliked the fact that any weight in the back would make the car immobile because it would sit the fender on the tire. Sure I could roll fender lip but don't want to and shouldn't have to when the cause is some overly soft springs.
