Yes one guy with a ta is running the 15x5. The backspacing on it was a 2.3xx said it fit perfect. Thread is on here. Google search 15x5 racestar with ls1tech behind it. Should pop up.

I wanted the extra strength of the rim and ill run a little wider tire for better stopping.

Sadly there's minimal tire choices for that wheel width. The M&H 185/75/15 tire is your best bet.

They look goofy as **** IMO, and defeat the purpose of a light weight front runner when you run a wider 15" front wheel with a heavier front tire. But it's your ride.

the 15x5 rims weigh 2lbs more then the 15x3.75. Im sure the bigger tire will add a little more but overall its going to be alot lighter then the zr1 setup I had before.

Buy my Dark Star 17x9.5's. that's what I'm running on the front with my 15x10's.

I am running a small tire you could run a little bigger on the 5 inch rims. I got these cheap. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Nexen-SB80...80R15/19473481
185 65 would probably work good.
