Default 28" tires on F-body?

It looks like they will fit in the rear (not worried about inner fender....) but I'm wondering if anyone has done it already. Nitto makes a set of 295/45/18s (I think its 45.....could be 40....) that come out to a tad over 28". I don't have ABS anymore so different size front-to-rear won't hurt anything and with the springs really stiff I don't get much movement over bumps (which I usually hit a 5mph anyways ).

again......will 28" tires fit the outer lip of the rear fender on an F-body?

look for 383SS on here. He runs 28' tires and his car looks mean. He runs 15" wheels and it looks like you wnat 18" (all the same regarding tire height)

If you are talking about a 28'' street tire, not a slick, then you will probably be able to get away with it. A friend of mine ran his car with 28'' slicks and only had problems when they would "grow" at the top end, but with a street tire you wouldn't have that problem.

I wanna see pics if you get them on. Also I would like to know what you had to do to get them to fit.

Depending on how much the car is lowered and how wide you go, they should fit without doing anything. The outer fender is larger than 28" so as long as the top of the fender isn't too close to the tire (lowered cars), it shouldn't need anything.

I have the Eibach prokit on my car. I put a 275/60/15 nitto on and destroyed the tires in 2 days. If you car is lowered you're probably going to have problems.
