Default anyone try to install G8 front wheel bearings on 4th gen?

i want to install some 5x120 wheels on my 98 ws6, does anyone know if a G8 wheel bearing will bolt into a 4th gen spindle? is the spacing correct for the rotors(depth wise for caliper bracket), i know lots of people just bolt these wheels on the 4.75" hubs, but i dont feel comfortable doing this

What were you going to do for the back (to put the 5 x 120s on there)??

IMO it is not worth going crazy over
You are talking about .65mm difference in bolt pattern spread across 5 lugs
That are lug centric
I just went and used lugs with floating seats and problem solved

well, i removed the front hubs, sent them to Moser, they redrilled/overdrilled the original bolt pattern to the 5x120 and used larger 1/2x20 studs and problem solved for 100$ including the studs

That's not a bad price to do things right, however many many many people run 5x120 as is with no issues.

For purely street use, yes, of course.

But, when one has an 18 x 11 up front with a 5 x 120 pattern, with a gumball 315/30-18 Hoosier R7 on it, braking and hitting turns on a road course at very high speeds, you are ASKING for trouble.
