Default Wonder if these will fit

I’m new to this fourm but I’ve been looking through it for a while. So I’ve been wanting weld wheels for a while back and on impulse i found a back set for dirt cheap and bought it right away without looking at the offset.
Here’s my question can 24+ offset work on a 2001 camaro and what do i need to make it work? Also what are the drawbacks off running that kind of offset on it

All 4 of them are that size?

Figure a 17x9 stock wheel is 56+ offset. If you put those 18x9.5 wheels with 6.2 BS on your car they are going to stick out 38mm (1.5 inches) compared to the stock wheels.

What do you need to make them fit? You need to sell one pair since they won't fit the fronts and then you need to buy a rear end that is shortened 1.5" on each side, so at least 2 of them will fit.

Thank you, i only have 2 for the back as they were a steal for 400. Would you recommend any brands that have a shortned rear end that willl work or should i shorten the one i have?

Are you wanting a stronger rear end instead of the factory 10 bolt? Strange Engineering can make you a shortened S60 and Midwest Chassis can make you a shortened 9".

The car sits at around 400Hp and so far the rear end has been good so far but i am planning on going turbo in the feature so a stronger rear end is the better choice for me
