Default 4th Gen Rear fitment

Hello Everyone,

Will a 15 in. x 8 in. rim, 5 x 4.75 bolt circle, 5.250 backspacing, fit okay on my 97 ss? or will i run into issues? these are racestar industries rims.
Also, will i be better of with a 275/50/15 tire or a 275/60/15 tire. I have everything in my cart ready to purchase but i wanted to get clarification before.

The sticky at the top says you need at least a 9" rim to clear a 275. I would also put a 26" tire over the 28" unless you have lots of power and want to mess with the ABS.

We are talking 15" drag radials not 17" or 18". Most of the people I've seen running 15x8 run a 275 and it fits no different than my 295s on 15x10. 275s look tiny on 15x10
